About Phormium / IFG Cresco

Phormium is a leading Belgian producer and supplier of innovative screens and ground covers which serves the agriculture and horticulture industries for a wide range of applications such as greenhouse climate control, water distribution, weed control and mushroom growing. 

Phormium has IFG Cresco, a division of IFG Exelto as a parent company, which is part of one of the major European textile groups, International Fibres Group. For more than 50 years, the group has developed and produced innovative, high quality product ranges, which are sold to professional users worldwide.

At the production site in Lokeren, Phormium produces high quality products for the agricultural sector in a fully integrated production process. We manage the process from raw materials to finished fabrics and are committed to providing excellent customer service, know-how and sustainable solutions.

Phormium Research Center

We have our own in-house Research Center, where quality is followed up through the whole production process. Our team works passionately to ensure continuous development of new materials, processes, features and applications. Our facility comprehends the newest testing equipment and pilot lines. This enables us to reduce development times through fast prototyping. During every step of the way certain parameters are tested. Where needed we partner with external labs for third party testing. IFG Cresco is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
